Through mindfulness, one learns to approach each moment with alert awareness and friendly acceptance.  The mind becomes less tense as the habit of judgment is released.  More moments become calm and clear as one becomes more present and awake.  Seeing things as they are, without evaluation of good or bad, one no longer reacts automatically to life but can respond with natural wisdom and compassion.  The mind relaxes, the heart becomes more gentle.  Ease transcends.
